That was a nice idea, but I won't get a letter from university saying that the degree requirements are completed in 2000. Also, the transcripts for one supplementary exam (in 2002) may speak against us. Do you think there's a chance? Please reply

If you are sick of the GC retrogression and Canada is not your cup of tea, UK is another option for you. You can calculate your points online to see if you are qualified for the UK Highly Skilled Migrant Programme (HSMP). It is always good to more than one option.

Revenue generation through multiple means is a very good idea.
Information Service
I would like to make most of the form thread details be accessible to members who had paid at least $100 or enrolled for recursive $20/month. We should make the thread heading very attractive and make it accessible to public. Core members should review all the thread headings, I think they are already doing it now. I can volunteer to this activity. I do have 8 years of experience in studying US immigration law, though I am not a lawyer, with my experience I can be of some guidance.

Provide advertisement (Ad), like we see top, right side and bottom page Ad in hotmail, yahoo etc. Apart from the flash, images Ads, we should also do Google text Ads. Flash Ad could be charged based on the space, number of page hits. Google pays 25 cents per click on the hyperlink for the text Ad. I had managed a project, which implemented the feature. I am sure we have lot of technical experts and get this implemented, very well.
Corporate Sponsorship
If a corporation sponsors money then most probably there will be some tax advantage. I do know IV�s tax code. Consulting companies could pay IV from our company account.
Physicians
We can identify all our physician members and provide help for members and their parents in need. In turn the members who had taken help could contribute to IV�s good cause, in terms of funds, taking part in activities, etc. Hi the concept is very simple, if you had gone to a doctor, you will end up spending 2 hr waiting to see the doctor and then pay 150 to talk to them for 15 min. We will help you and intern you help us, or may be help yourself if you are a person going through the GC process. I can take initiative for this task, my wife is a physician and I know 20 other doctors who are in the GC process.

Yes that's my understanding too... if the application reaches the AINP office before April 15 then it will be considered under the current occupation list.....
Thank you ingegarcia, Just to clarify "postmarked before April 15th" means, even if the application is not yet accepted, but received by the AINP before April 15th. Could you please confirm if my understanding is correct.

IMHO this is a tremendous start. If at all the lawmakers do get serious about this proposal we need to lobby hard to include MS students and EB community as part of one of the amendments. If President Obama can mention MS students in in speech to the nation I feel he would atleast support it.

Similarly, it is possible, in certain limited situations, to transfer a priority date from an approved I-130 petition to a later family-based filing. On occasion, however, it is difficult to make the service centers aware that the beneficiary has an earlier priority date.
The NSC, on June 14, 2005, provided instructions for a person filing a petition and requesting an earlier priority date based upon a previous case. A brightly-colored, flagged sheet of paper should be included to indicate that there is an earlier priority date. A copy of the prior I-797 Approval Notice of the I-140 petition should be inserted directly behind the brightly-colored sheet of paper. Though the NSC did not indicate where this should go in the filing, it is generally best to put such requests on the top of the filing or directly behind the cover sheet, to maximize the chance that it will be seen and acknowledged. Thanks all.
I did send the ITIN application and tax return documents together. I have called IRS multiple times, but they could not confirm anything about the status of ITIN processing. All they say is it is their peak time and I should wait up to 8 weeks to see if I get the ITIN letter :mad:. I have no idea what to do in case I don't get the ITIN letter within that timeframe :confused:.

I think you can earn upto maximum 4 credits per year. so to get 40 credits you have to work for 10 years.
